full and upright

Back from vacation. Much learned in the short time away, about priorities, goals. All the good stuff, elusive and powerful though they may be. There’s much to write on these things, the thoughts how they simmer and percolate. Just not quite ready to come to life on paper.

In the meantime, here’s a picture of my legs in coach on the plane to vacationland. Looks painful, doesn’t it?

No fun being 6’2″ (6’3″) and squished into a seat made for someone who is 5’8″ (5’6″) for what feels like endless hours. And that’s with the seat in front of me in the full and upright position.




I. Squat Cleans

4 Sets, 2 Reps

Completed: at 75lbs., 85lbs., 95lbs., tried for 105lbs. —-> fail.

II. 4 Rounds:

10 Overhead Squats (115/75)

15 Chest-to-Bar Pullups

Completed: OHS at 35lbs. (bar only). Decided to get in the reps and focus on form. Scaled to ring dips.
