“I think if I’ve learned anything about friendship, it’s to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don’t walk away, don’t be distracted, don’t be too busy or tired, don’t take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.” ― Jon Katz
It’s Friday and I’ve hit a WOD, plus a Strongman, every day this week. My body is sore and tired but my mind is fired up. I question whether going today is a good idea. The WOD looks challenging, 3 AMRAPs total. I do what you do when you want to get yourself to the box but you don’t want to admit to yourself that you’re actually going to go through with it. I sign up online for the 4 o’clock class and then try to forget about it. It will all just happen as it should. Ideally I won’t even know what hit me.
